What types of printers can be used with TFP/Laser Link. Can I use an Inkjet or Bubblejet printer? TFP/Laser Link Programs use HP LaserJet, Deskjet, Inkjet, Bubblejet*(as per your printers physical capabilities. Some Inkject or Bubblejet printers may not print to the bottom 1/2-inch of paper). Because of margin limitations most Deskjet, Inkjet and Bubblejet printers will not laser generate the forms used by Laser Link. Check your users manual for these limitations. TFP will also print on most any dot matrix printer Printing W-2 & 1099 Forms Link Reprinting Forms Entire Session On the toolbar select the Create/Print Forms tab and the Print Tax Forms icon. Use the Selected Form drop menu to select the form type to process.

FORMS PRINTING FIRST & LAST NAME IN ADDRESS AREA INCORRECTLY Our software is programmed to print to a specific format for the Red Copy and another format for the black copies. On the Red Form Copy there is a red line separating the Name and address, on the black form copies there is no line. Therefore in our program the Red Copy is printed with a line spaces between each line but the black copies are printed with no line space. If the forms you are using are exactly the same format for the Red and Black copies (be sure you check them carefully) you will need to run all of your forms as Copy A when printing. If your forms do not have the same format and have printed incorrectly you should checkl the sequence in which you placed the forms in your printer. If you are printing a 6-Part W-2, Copy A will not be the 1st form you print. The program will prompt you to put the forms in to the printer in a specific sequence, Copy 1 comes first, then Copy 2, then Copy A. Other form sequences: 1099's – PRINTING 4 PART FORM Copy 1 – Copy A – Copy B – Copy C 1099's R – PRINTING 6 PART FORM Copy 1 - Copy 2 – Copy A- Copy B- Copy C Copy D
